Students learned that Halloween is celebrated in several countries on 31st October and the tradition originated with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain .Students were dressed as various ghost characters and they were shown how Trick and Treat concept was originated and evolved.
DIWALI FETE 2019
QGIS celebrated the Festival of Lights with the annual Diwali Fete ON 25th October 2019. There were stalls with vendors (students)selling everything from food to home decor and more.
DANDIYA NIGHT 2019
When radha and krishna splurge to the tunes of traditional melodious music in sync with the metro music!! Indian Cultural dance with exquisite cuisines adding colours to the navratri. It was the time of the year when globalites holded the dandiyas and grooved to the garba beats.
The students of Queen Global International School, celebrated Grandparents Day with abundance of respect and admiration. There was a special event for the Grand Parents of the Pre-Primary as well as the Primary sections.The children were very excited to see their grand dad or grand mom participate in the games and cheered them wholeheartedly. Dr. Jyotsana, Principal thanked every grandparent for their presence and for their continuous support and guidance to children. Beautiful saplings were presented to honour all grandparents, as a token of love from QGIS Family.
ANUJYOT 2019 - THE INTER SCHOOL COMPETITION
“Whether you’re a founder, a leader, or an individual contributor, building a strong team is critical to your success.”Keeping the spirit of 5th Founder’s Day,QGIS felt pride to host ‘5th Inter School Fest- ANUJYOT 2019’ on Monday, August 19, 2019 in the school premises. The fest aimed at motivating the young learners to ‘Explore, Learn, Protect, and Respect’ the diverse educational fields and Think out of the box to innovate their little dreams. Some of the competitions included in the event are:Eccentric Entrepreneurs,Tickle Your Taste Buds,Vision Fantasy,Emotional Quotient,Planet Saviours,LiteraryBucket etc.
SUPER HEROES – THE GUARDIANS OF MANKIND
To sensitize the students of Montessori I and II about helpers, their work, their tools and their procedure of working in various countries a fancy dress competition was conducted and judged by mentors.
A visit to police Station, Fire station, Hospital, Garden was organized to make the students ware about the workplace of helpers.
QUEENOLYMPICS -Annual Sports Day was held in January 2018, with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere. The programme began with the Principal Dr. Jyotsana welcoming the esteemed gathering and emphasised on the importance of sports in a child’s life. The students entered into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way with the oath being administered by the Sports captain. An energizing equestrian display set the tone for the rest of the event. The overall champion trophy was awarded to the winning team.
